Prep School Carol Service
On the last morning of term, 13th December, the whole of Key Stage 2 and their parents filled All Saint’s Church, Headington, for the annual Prep School Carol Service.
There were songs and poems beautifully performed by each year group as well as pieces sung by the choir. Everyone enjoyed singing the traditional carols, with a couple of descants echoing above the congregation.
It was a time to remember of the importance of gifting one’s presence at Christmas and cherishing those around us. It was an uplifting moment in the day which allowed the School to come together and celebrate before breaking up for the holidays.
The retiring collection raised a generous £540 for Thomley Hall, the Prep School’s chosen charity this year.
