Prep School Keepy Uppy Challenge
Remote learning didn’t stop Headington Prep School children from taking part in a house competition organised by the PE Department in the form of a “keepy uppy” challenge.
All children in Key Stages 1 and 2 were asked to count how many times they could bat or kick a ball up in the air before it fell to the ground.
Over 120 children took part and there were some hugely impressive individual scores over 300 recorded!
The competition took place over a week, with children being encouraged to practise and then record their final attempt before sending in their scores. Every single keepy uppy counted towards the final scores as seen below:
1st – Redwood 2190 points
2nd – Beech 1976 points
3rd – Oak 1389 points
4th – Chestnut 1257 points
