Prize Giving ceremony
The incredible achievements of Headington’s U6 Leavers were celebrated with a special Prize Giving ceremony.
For the first time in 18 months, parents were able to join their daughters in school to mark their achievements thanks to strict Covid measures. Those who were able to attend in person crossed the stage and received their certificates from guest speaker and Headingtonian Ella Podmore, while leavers also joined from all over the world via live stream so their achievements could be recognised.
Ella, a McLaren engineer, gave an inspirational speech about her career and about the importance of embracing your individuality and being true to yourself.
Following the presentation, girls and parents enjoyed socially distanced picnics in the grounds.
