Shreya Maths Success

A gifted U4 mathematician has been presented with a silver medal after taking part in a challenging national competition.

Shreya (U4) took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Olympiad during the summer holidays.

She had to complete a challenging two-hour paper requiring full written solutions.

Her result and medal put her in the UK’s top 100 students who participated in this challenge.

Mrs Sarah Sandys, Head of Mathematics at Headington, said: “It is a very impressive achievement! We’ve only had one other Olympiad medal at Headington in the last two years so we’re very proud of Shreya for her outstanding triumph. Well done Shreya!”
