Dr Becky White gave a highly-engaging account of her work in the pharmaceutical industry, covering her career path and sharing valuable insights into the profession for GCSE and A Level students.
Valuable advice on topics such as subject combinations, degree course requirements, earning potential and opportunities in research and management gave a clear view into the world of work. During a Q & A session post-talk, Dr White answered questions on a wide range of topics including drug regulations, careers overseas, ethical practice in multinational companies, work-life balance of professionals and how the pharmaceutical sector works alongside other medical teams and the public.
