Stunning vocal recital

On Wednesday 11th December, U6 Music student Anna gave a wonderfully-expressive and highly professional solo vocal recital.

Anna sang a selection of accompanied pieces in English, German and Italian, including lieder from Schumann’s song cycle ‘Frauenliebe und Leben’, an extremely-challenging aria from Mozart’s ‘Cosi fan tutte’ and songs by Purcell and Wolf. It was a fantastic occasion that highlighted the pinnacle of fine music performance that the girls at Headington School are capable of and regularly achieve. Very well done Anna!
