Success at the Beagle Maths Challenge
Four Year 6 pupils were chosen to represent the School at a national Maths event – the DC Beagle Maths Challenge.
The girls were challenged in a range of ways and had to compete in three rounds that pushed their understanding and problem-solving capabilities to the max.
The girls put in a huge effort and one of the Headington teams placed eighth out of 38 teams.
Mr Josh Batty, Year 3 teacher and Head of Maths, said: “The girls had a fantastic time and we very much look forward to the Year 4 and 5 events in the future!”
