Sustainable Fashion Workshop at Prep
On Tuesday, Lydia Bolton, a sustainable fashion designer visited Year 6.
Lydia talked to the children about her brand and ran a workshop session demonstrating a technique the children could use to upcycle existing clothes! Year 6 loved it!
The children were fascinated to hear about Lydia’s work, how she started her brand and her collaborations with companies such as Nike, Adidas and Urban Outfitters to name a few. They also put their sewing skills to the test, learning the embroidery technique, ‘couching’.
