The Activities Fair
Girls and parents were given a taste of the huge range of activities on offer at Headington at the annual Activities Fair.
On Wednesday 8th September, Headington held one of its firfor the annual Activities Fair.
The event on Wednesday 8th September saw the Sports Hall bustling with keen girls and their parents while they found out more about all the opportunities on offer. It was also a welcome opportunity for parents to meet and chat with their daughter’s teachers, something they had not been able to do face-to-face for some time!
This year, the girls had a number of exciting new activities to choose from such as the Green Powered Car Club, Creativity and Engineering Club and Fakeaway that Takeaway Club. Of course, they still had the opportunity to sign up to old favourites such as Rowing Club, CCF and Robotics.
Staff were pleased to see such an amazing turn out for the event and even happier to be on the receiving end of so many questions.
The girls can now sign up to their activities via SOCS, the information for which will have been sent out via school communications.
Mr Gerallt Skym, Assistant Head (Staff and Co-Curricular) said: “The activities fair was an awesome success and we’re so excited to introduce the new SOCS system. Well done to everyone who has completed their sign ups, we hope you’re looking forward to activities starting next week!”
