The British Physics Olympiad – one serious ‘senior’ challenge

In March a dedicated group of L6 Physics students put themselves through their paces with the challenging but also inspiring BPhO Senior Physics Challenge, designed by the University of Oxford.

The paper this year was particularly challenging, but despite this three Headington Physicists achieved outstanding Silver Awards: Alina, Megan and Kylie.

A further six students achieved a Bronze Award and another seven Commendations.

Head of Science Mr Jason Morris said: “Many congratulations go to all those who stepped up to the mark and participated, their willingness to push themselves during a very busy time is highly courageous.”
