Town and Gown 2022 3K
On Sunday 8th May, 16 runners from Headington Prep took part in the Oxford Town and Gown Junior 3K. The event started with a mass warm-up before the girls joined a very busy start line with 356 runners in the Junior race alone.
The emphasis of the day was on a run rather than a race, however we had some great results in the 9-11 category. Isabella (Year 6) was the first Headington runner home in eighth position, Alice (Year 5) in ninth, Dana (Year 6) in 10th, Nayla (Year 5) in 11th and Emma (Year 4) in 12th.
All the runners really enjoyed the event and it has been lovely to see the girls’ medals and hear their stories from the day.
