Trip to Compton Verney

On Friday 6th March Year 3 visited Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park to assist with their topic on Clothes. They took on the role of a designer in a Pattern, Shape, Design workshop, discovering works from designers Enid Marx, Mark Hearld and naïve artists in Compton Verney’s quirky Folk Art collection. The girls then learned about printmaking and how to screen print designs onto fabric, creating team banner masterpieces.
