U10 Football Tournament at Chandlings
Wednesday 13th March
This was a great tournament that focused on participation and fun. Headington started slowly in their first game, but once Kitty found the net in the eighth minute of the first game, Headington became more confident and showed great physicality and strength in their games. Goals came from Merope, Dana, Tamsin and Kitty. With Lucy in goal , Laila playing the ball forward from her defensive role and Jemima calmly turning on the ball to find an outlet, this was most definitely a great all round team performance. Well played to Merope who was voted the rising star for the team following her determination to close down the opposition. Well played everyone.
