Headington played some superb Football in this tournament against some very strong opposition. The Year 5 team were highly competitive and showed good awareness of their formation throughout all of the matches. The team showed perseverance and resilience, making every game enjoyable. Results:
Headington Prep v East Oxford: 2 – 1 Loss
Headington Prep v Chesterton: 4 – 2 Loss
Headington Prep v Oxford High: 7 – 3 Loss
Goals were scored by Annie and Charlotte and the afternoon ended with a brilliant team goal, working the ball from the back to a neatly slotted goal by Charlotte. Florence, Summer and Jemimah each played their part in goal, making crucial saves. Nayla, Abby and Eve worked tirelessly for the team showing good tackling and attacking play. Well played everyone.
