U10 Hockey Tournament at Chandlings

What a fantastic introduction to inter-school Hockey matches for Year 5. A fun afternoon was enjoyed by all and the U10 team showed great teamwork throughout. They faced Chandlings in the first game and despite having most of the attacking play, they were held to a 0-0 draw. In their second game against Oxford High, the U10s converted their chances and won 2-0 with goals from Abby and Audrey. In the final game of the afternoon, Headington Prep faced St Hugh’s in a very exciting match with the ball switching from end to end. There was some superb defending by the whole team and special mention goes to Charlotte who played in goal, showing great reactions and agility to keep the opponents out. Well played everyone.
