U10 Hockey v Rye

This match was a good test for Headington Prep’s U10 team, facing a number of Year 6 children and playing against a mixed team too! Headington Prep did well to rise to the challenge and managed to control the majority of play while attacking confidently.

In the first half, the Headington created numerous chances but were not able to convert these into goals. Both Mairi and Annabel were strong in defence and so the opposition struggled to break through them. Headington left it to the very last minute to score – but the goal was well deserved. Well played everyone!
