U10 netball match vs Oxford High School
Netballers were celebrated after both U10 A and B teams brought home wins following a their matches against Oxford High School on Thursday 30th January.
U10A: Won 10 – 4
This was an excellent game of Netball, with both teams showing good passing and a determination to get the ball into the attacking third of the court.
Headington Rye were more dominant in the centre third and were able to convert their scoring opportunities.
Cecily contributed a number of goals to the team effort and Sophia was outstanding and dictated the speed and direction of play.
U10B: Won 9 – 0
The U10B team were coached superbly by Kitty and Bea (Y6) and the team responded well to their advice.
In particular, the team used the whole court to create more space for each other. A wonderful display of Netball – well played everyone.
