U10 Netball Tournament at St Hughs

The Year 5 netball squad did themselves and Headington Prep School proud at the annual St Hughs U10 netball tournament. St Hughs renamed our teams dolphins, sharks and turtles and they played lots of matches showing great collaboration throughout the afternoon.
The Dolphins reached the plate final and were dominant throughout this game against Beaudesert Lionesses and won 3-1. The team were so proud to be the recipients of the winners medals.
The Sharks played some excellent netball and reached the semi-final of the cup competition. They faced a strong St Hughs team, but showed great desire to compete. They narrowly lost this game 2-1, but the game could have gone either way. Well played everyone – even with lots of finger injuries, we all soldiered on and worked hard for each other.
