U10 Netball v Oxford High Prep School – Wednesday 27th March 2019
U10A: Won 18 – 2
Player of the match – Emma
This was a very confident display of Netball. In the first quarter, Headington were 9 – 1 up and passing the ball beautifully up the court. They intercepted the ball well and kept Oxford High out of the circle. The rest of the game saw the team taking on the challenge of playing in different positions to normal and they showed great positivity towards this. Freya, Aisha, Clara and Emma all scored goals for the team and Lottie played her first match for the A team. Emma was everywhere in this game and despite a tumble, she soldiered on to be voted player of the match. A fantastic season of Netball – well played.
U10B: Won 6 – 3
Players of the match – Shreya and Alice
This was a close game of Netball but Headington showed great perseverance throughout. Alice and Georgia played their first matches for the U10 team and captains Surina and Ciara played some super Netball. Hannah worked tirelessly for the team and contributed to a number of goals. Well played everyone.
