U11 IAPs Hockey 2019
U11 IAPs Hockey Tournament – Wednesday 25th September 2019
The U11A team put on a wonderful display of hockey at this tournament. They started brightly with two very convincing victories over Crosfields and Swanbourne House. Clara scored in the first game and captain Cecily scored a fantastic goal from a short corner. The games were 12 minutes one way and it proved difficult to get back on terms against The Manor and Monmouth, despite some good attacking play by Emma, Lily and Hannah. Captains Aisha and Lottie W tackled everyone that came their way and were impressive all day. In a tense penalty shootout at the end of the group stages, Lottie T showed no fear, making a good save to force the penalties to sudden death. The girls must be congratulated for their positivity and team spirit.
