U11 Netball v Chandlings – Monday 24th February 2020
U11A: Won 14 – 10
Player of the match: Aisha
Chandlings dominated the start of the match and quickly took the lead. Once Headington settled down and started to play with more composure they scored a few more goals and at half time it was 9-7 to Chandlings. Great defending turned the possession several times to give Headington the advantage with the final score being 14 – 10. Great determination throughout the match.
U11B: Won 7 – 3
Players of the match: Alice and Lottie T
This was a good game of netball – with both teams battling with the windy conditions on court. It was evens at half time, but the team started to pull away in the second half, extending their lead with some good shooting by Hannah P and Lottie T.
U11C: Lost 2 – 0
Player of match: Amy
The match was 0-0 right up until the final quarter of the game, with Headington showing good defending skills. Player of the match Amy demonstrated good movement on the court and the centre court players worked hard to get the ball up to the shooters. Well played everyone.
