U11A: Player of match – Mairi and Phoebe
Headington started this match very well and showed that they could play the ball up the court confidently. It was just the final ball into the circle that needed to be a little more convincing. The first half, saw Headington go 5-0 down, but it was end to end with some great interceptions from Lily and good solid play by Mairi and Phoebe. The last half of the game, the Manor pulled away but Headington competed for everything through the match.
U11B: Player of match – Hannah and Audrey
The U11B team showed great team play and had learned a few things from watching the A team. In future matches, they will need to slow down a little in order to gain control of their footwork and passing. Their shooting was good and the team defended well all over the court.
