U11 Netball v The Manor Prep – Thursday 19th September
U11A: Won 3 – 2.
Player of the match – Aishe and Clara
This was an extremely close game between two good teams. Headington made the most of the number of chances they had with Emma and Hannah working well together in the circle. Aishe led the defensive line and intercepted everything that came her way which set the tone for the whole team. Clara also played a superb game as WA, linking well with the attacking players. This was a really tough match at the start of the season and the team worked hard to win – great determination.
U11B: Won 6 -1
Player of the match – Rhia
An excellent display of netball by the team. Rhia and Shreya showed good composure when shooting. The centre court play was good, with Ciara, Raazz and Giulia passing the ball nicely to each other. Well played everyone.
U11C: Drew 2 – 2
Player of the match – Hannah
This was a good game of netball. Sevni, Cecily, Sameera and Emilia made their first ever appearance in a Headington school team and showed great team spirit. They all worked hard together, marking well and gaining more understanding of competitive netball matches. A good start – well played U11C team.
