U14 County Netball Tournament
U14 netballers are headed to Regionals after an impressive performance at their County Netball tournament.
The team, captained by Emma, came away with a strong win against Lord Williams’s in their first match of the day. This was closely followed by a tough match against St Helen & St Katharine, resulting in a loss. Nonetheless, the team went in with a fighting attitude in their following matches against Didcot Girls, followed in quick succession by feisty games against Cherwell and Oxford High. The final match was against Bloxham and was the decider; whoever would win would move on to the regional round. The U14 team brought their A game and finished with a stellar 14-4, moving them on to regionals in January. We look forward to a fantastic tournament!
The U16 and U19 teams also performed well in their county tournaments, with the U16s finishing fifth after a few close losses against strong teams, while the U19s had a string of wins and a couple of losses, finishing fourth overall.
