U8 hockey v Oxford High School

Three teams of Hockey players lined up to take on Oxford High School in an exciting afternoon of matches on Monday 14th October.

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with lots of mini matches. Headington Rye U8s were divided into three teams and each team played against Oxford High and then also played in some matches against each other.

The red team won 2-0, blue team won 2-0 and the green team drew 1-1.

Director of Prep Sport Miss Hattie Taylor said: “It was a great opportunity for the children to learn more about the rules of the game and try and implement all of the skills they have been learning in lessons and clubs. Well played everyone.”
