Upcycled Art Installation in Year 6

Year 6 have enjoyed the challenge of creating what promises to be a show-stopping art installation re-using and re-purposing old items, recycling and rubbish this term.

The girls have collected items and brought them into the Prep School’s Art Department where they have sewed, stitched, stuck and stapled to fabricate the piece with the help of Mrs Rebecca Klico and Mrs Tessa Davey.

So far, the final piece is yet to reveal itself as the girls are keeping the final design as a mystery – however the School is extremely excited to see it!

The sculpture will be displayed in the upper atrium of Headington Prep School when it is complete.
