World Book Week at Prep
Our book week at Headington Prep started with a visit from the very popular author Pippa Goodhart on Monday 9th March. It was a real treat for both girls and staff to sit and listen to some lovely stories. Pippa has a very relaxed style which worked brilliantly to captivate the children’s imaginations:
“It was great because Pippa told us a little bit about what her life was like growing up and how she’s not very good at spelling “.
“I love ‘You Choose’, It looks like a baby book but I’m in year 6 and still think it’s wonderful”
Since the visit we have had lots of requests to stock even more Pippa Goodhart books in the library! The week finished on Friday 13th March with an array of characters in school with girls and staff dressed up as their favourite book personalities.
