U11A team: Won 21-2. Player of match – Mairi and Bridgitte.
A great performance from the U11s in their first match in Year 6. This was good practice for the tournament in a few weeks and in readiness for the real Netball season to start in the Spring Term.
Mairi showed good composure and had a good game mentality throughout and Bridgitte made some good interceptions and linked the play well with her team mates. Keep up the good work in training!
U10A team: Won 18 – 1. Player of the match – Isla.
This was an excellent game of Netball from the U10A team. The team worked well together and showed great versatility on the court as they played in their first Netball match for Headington. They played a 5-a-side game, encouraging everyone to play in every position.
With goals coming from many of the team, they showed good attacking play and Isla made some wonderful interceptions when defending. We look forward to the Spring Term when the Netball fixtures truly start!
