Year 2 enjoy a Royal tea party
On Monday 6th January, a royal feast awaited the returning Year 2 pupils.
The children were excited to don their party attire for an afternoon learning all about the Royal family and their customs.
They learned the correct way to greet a member of the Royal family and then practiced their curtsies and bows and sung the National Anthem.
Then followed a wonderful tea party with delicious cucumber sandwiches and cakes.
Mrs Joanna Haynes, Head of Key Stage 1, said: “It was great to see the children enjoying their first day back with such a memorable experience.”
