Year 3 to 6 Cross Country at Rye

On Monday 20th September, Rye St Antony School hosted Headington Prep girls from Year 3 to 6 for a Cross Country race around their grounds. For many of the runners, it was the first time they had run for a long time so there was great excitement but also a few nerves.

The U11s were the first to run and Dana came in first, followed by Pia and then Jessica. In the U10s, Abby finished in second, followed by Lily and then Alice. In the U9s, Liv crossed the line first followed by Emma in third and Effie in fourth. In the U8s, Kitty sprinted home in first, followed by Lucy in third and Eliza in fifth. Well done to all the runners. It was lovely to see parents out spectating too!
