Year 4 visit Rock Edge

On Wednesday 1st November, Year 4 went on a local field trip to Rock Edge, Headington to learn about the geology of the area. They were joined by geology experts Bill, Owen and Lawrence who are all members of the Oxford Geology Society. At Rock Edge, they had the opportunity to learn about the sedimentary rock present there and also got the chance to sketch different fossils and we also did some orienteering.
