Year 5 Greek Day

On Tuesday 21st September, Year 5 took an adventure into the world of Ancient Greece. Wearing sensational costumes, they found out about gods, philosophy and war. They re-enacted the Olympic games and staged a debate. There was enthusiastic acting to share the story of Jason and the golden fleece which was filled with tragedy, comedy and drama. The day was fantastic fun and the cheering and jeering of the warring sides could even be heard in Mrs Crouch’s office! The girls were enthralled throughout the day and enjoyed being able to step into the characters of Ancient Greece.
