Year 6 Forest School Camping Experience   

Earlier this week, Year 6 gathered up their roll mats and sleeping bags and ventured over to the Senior School where they spent a night camping in the beautiful gardens of Davenport.

Immersed in the woodland, the girls enjoyed activities such as shelter building, wood whittling, fire making and much more. It was wonderful to see Year 6 embrace the nature around them and, luckily, the rain held off long enough to enjoy a wonderful BBQ in the evening.

The girls were responsible for constructing their own tents (all of which survived the night!) before relaxing around a campfire, singing songs and telling ghost stories. It was a wonderful celebration as our Year 6’s come to the end of their time at the Prep School.
